Apostle Vertise Z. Rozier was born July 23, 1969, in Dublin, Georgia, to two GOD fearing parents the late Levi Rozier and Mary Rozier, the fourth of eight children. He has three brothers, Levi, Orlando, and Tyrie and four sisters, Sundra, Stephania, Leslie, and Shalondria.
A product of the Twiggs County public school system, Apostle Rozier graduated from Twiggs County High School in 1987. Upon graduating, he served eight years in the United States Army as a Chaplain Assistant, receiving an honorable discharged in October 1995. Apostle Rozier has since received an Honorary Doctorate of Theology from Mongo Theology School in Lancaster, South Carolina and attended numerous theology courses and seminars to further expand his spiritual knowledge. By the gifting of the LORD, Apostle Rozier began to walk in the prophetic at a very early age. Therefore, to assist in enhancing his gift, he attended the School of the Prophets where God began to perfect his gift and he graduated with honors.
From childhood, Apostle Rozier had a very deep desire for ministry; being born into the Union Grove Church Of GOD in CHRIST, he was saved at the tender age of seven and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at age twelve. During his tenure in the Church Of GOD in CHRIST, Apostle Rozier served in many capacities: Youth Pastor, Choir Director, Assistant Sunday School Teacher, and the Assistant President of the Youth Department, to name a few. He established the Intercessory Prayer Team as well as the Pastoral Anniversary Committee. In October 1984, Apostle Rozier’s formal ministry began when he preached his initial sermon entitled “I Find No Fault In GOD.” He was licensed in 1985 by his spiritual father and mentor, the late Superintendent L.R. Hood, and it was under his tutelage that he was endued with wisdom and the “Old and Holy Way” of doing things which has developed him into who he is today.
Due to his love for the LORD, Apostle Rozier was continually active in his church and community. He began traveling and conducting revivals at the age of fifteen, and served as a National Evangelist for the Church of GOD in Christ for several years. Additionally, Apostle Rozier served as the Assistant Pastor of the First African Baptist Church, of Vidalia, Georgia, under Dr. Perry McNeal, the Youth Pastor for the Danville Baptist Church under Pastor E.T. Jones, and also served as musician to many churches in South Georgia area.
Recognizing the unusual anointing on his life, his mother allowed him to meet and travel with many Apostles, Prophets and Evangelists who helped develop him in the anointing. His Mother along with his grandparents, the Late Deacon Lester Mack and Mother Louise Mack, have greatly impacted his life as consistent and stable examples of Holiness.
On December 4, 1994, Apostle Rozier was instructed by GOD through HIS Holy Spirit to start a church in Forsyth, Georgia; however, Apostle wondered with his own failures and insufficiencies how he could lead the people of GOD. The Lord then spoke to him and said “I ordained you in your mother’s womb.” Thus, Apostle Vertise Z. Rozier began the Cathedral Of Faith Praise Center #1, in a small conference room at the Holiday Inn in Forsyth, Georgia. Since the ministry has been in existence, the membership has grown from the original twelve members to the now Cathedral Of Faith Family Praise Center International with well over five hundred members. The LORD has blessed the ministry to build a half-million dollar edifice and purchase over five acres of land. Additionally, Apostle Rozier founded The New Generation Outreach Ministries International (NGOMI), a fellowship of like-minded ministries of which he is the Presiding Prelate and Cathedral of Faith Family Praise Center International – Sandersville.
Apostle Rozier has been slated and confirmed as “A Last Day Prophet” and is building a ministry of empowered believers divinely appointed and chosen to restore, redeem, rebuild, and repair that which has been torn down. His ministry is one that is committed to making known GOD’s Kingdom to Everyone; Everywhere; Throughout the World according to Isaiah 58:1 which declares “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression..”
On May 27, 2000 Apostle Rozier’s life was enhanced with the predestined union to the former Linda E. Stephens, an anointed and accomplished Woman of GOD, tailor-made just for him. The couple is a unique force, which the LORD uses to destroy the work of the adversary. Apostle Rozier has one daughter, one granddaughter, and is the spiritual father to many that he has birthed in ministry.
